PHINEAS AND FERB THE MOVIE: ACROSS THE 2ND DIMENSION
Release date: August 23, 2011

Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd DimensionHey readers, what do you want to do today? Maybe watch “Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension”? And if you think I’m going to tell you all about the DVD… yes, yes I am.

This DVD movie is based on the immensely popular television series that has found its way into the hearts of both adults and children alike.

Much of the Emmy Award-winning series’ success is due to the show’s creators. They are so completely involved in so many aspects of production, from writing to songwriting to providing voices. As a result, they are able to guide the show to their own desired results.

To me, “Phineas and Ferb” is what Disney is all about. I can watch it with my five year old son and we both laugh and equally enjoy it together.

Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd DimensionNow Phineas and Ferb star in their own movie. Fans of the show are in for a surprise when Phineas and Ferb finally meet the evil Dr. Doofenschmirtz and even discover the secret identity of their pet Perry the platypus.

Through Doofenschmirtz’s “Otherdimensionator,” the boys find themselves in an alternate universe, complete with their second dimension counterparts.

More action-packed than a typical “Phineas and Ferb” episode, the movie stays true to the characters and setting of the series.

The fun doesn’t stop with the movie, there are also some “perrific” BONUS FEATURES!

First of all, using your remote explore the menu and you’ll find little Easter eggs, including one that changes the menu to the alternate universe.

There are eight DELETED SCENES which includes a song exclusive to this DVD as well as an extended song from the movie.

The BONUS EPISODE: ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT SISTER is a twelve minute cartoon from one of the episodes.

The COMMENTARY on this episode is by the great show creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh along with one of the co-writers of the episode, Jon Colton Berry.

PERRYOKE gives you the chance to show off your vocals with karaoke-style lyrics with the songs. Just follow the bouncing Perry!

You can sing along with the lyrics during the movie, or you can choose songs separately, with or without onscreen lyrics, thanks to Dr. Doofenschmirtz’s “jukeboxinator.”

The second disc allows you to enter your included Movie Rewards code so you can transfer a digital copy of the movie to your iPod or other device, but you can also transfer all eight songs to have the MOVIE SOUNDTRACK on the go, including the deleted DVD-exclusive song.

Hope this helps you to know what’s on the “Phineas and Ferb” movie DVD from start to Phineas.
