MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE: MINNIE'S MASQUERADE
Release date: February 8, 2010

The latest "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" DVD has been unmasked, and this time the feature episode is "Minnie's Masquerade", in which Minnie and the gang have a zany time in a game of dress-up for a mousekerade ball!

As soon as the DVD arrived, I gave it to my five year old son to see what he thought, and he immediately ran and grabbed his Mickey Mote.

The Mickey Mote is in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head and the buttons are four different colors in four different shapes. It is an actual working remote control, but stripped of all the unnecessary buttons like chapter forward, chapter back, etc. We in a bundle release in a previous "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" release.

For some time now, the preschool Disney DVDs have had games and activities in which kids only need to use the arrow keys, pictured in various colored shapes. So this new Mickey Mote corresponds not only with the latest preschool releases, but many of the previous ones also.

As a grownup, I didn't really see the point of the Mickey Mote - after all, you can use the regular DVD remote to control the games easy enough. Yet, my son will be the first to tell you it's a lot more fun with the Mickey Mote.  So there ya go!

In addition to the never-before seen episode, "Minnie's Masquerade" and the bonus interactive game, there are four additional complete episodes of "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" on this DVD.

The "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" is a quality program which gives preschoolers their own special time to spend with Mickey,Minnie, Donald, Goofy and the Disney gang. The show, which hides some educational values in it along the way, has proven to enchant a young audience with good old fashioned Disney charm.
