Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2
The dogs of “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” are reunited for all new adventures and to deliver some Chihuahua chuckles in this direct-to-video sequel, with George Lopez re prising his role as the voice of Papi amongst an all-star cast, along with Alyssa Milano and Disney starlets including Emily Osment, Bridgit Mendler and Madison Pettis to name a few.
This time, Papi finds himself in wedded bliss with his new bride, Chloe, and a little of playful puppies. When the family gets to visit where Papi grew up, they learn that the family of his owner has fallen upon hard times and is about to lose his house. This is one situation where a family going to the dogs is a good thing, as Papi and his family are determined to help the humans.
There are also a handful, er, pawful of “BONE”US FEATURES on here:
The obligatory MUSIC VIDEO is “This is My Paradise,” performed by Bridgit Mendler, who might be best known to Disney fans as Teddy in the TV series “Good Luck, Charlie.” Bridgit, who
provides the voice of Appoline the poodle in “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2,” not only performs the Music Video, but she also wrote the song.
The BLOOPER FAUX PAWS (3:22) are quick and delivered in a humorous style complete with underscore, but I always wish there were lengthier bloopers. These quick snippets are certain to deliver a chuckle, and unlike most movies, being a dog movie you’re also treated to fur mishaps, drool and bodily sniffing outtakes.
Lastly, there’s BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA CHALLENGE. This is a trivia game based
on the films, but being that it's a Blu-ray exlcusive, it's got more
pizzazz than a typical DVD game, complete with timed questions, video
clips, and onscreen video responses by Papi himself.
Hope this helped you bone up on what’s on the Beverly Hills Chihuahua blu-ray and DVD.
